Angie has been practicing yoga over the past 15 years, and got her start at home with yoga videos. In early 2019, she decided to take the leap and become a yoga teacher and has been teaching ever since. She completed her RYT 200 training at the Yoga Goddess Academy with Crystal Gray.
Since then, Angie has taken additional training in prenatal yoga with Rena Wren of Mama Nurture, as well as Vinyasa sequencing with Jason Crandell. She loves to teach Hatha/Vinyasa based classes with a focus on proper alignment and taking the time to “feel” the pose in your own body.
Being a Physical Therapist Assistant as well, she has an attention to anatomical detail, biomechanics, and safety. She believes that connecting with the breath, moving the body skillfully, and quieting the mind can bring peace, confidence, and resilience on and off the mat. Angie loves teaching beginners and introducing them to the practice of yoga!
