GLANDULAR BALANCE - (ADRENALS + KIDNEYS)
Do we have a reserve capacity to get to our destination despite the snowstorm? Our energy can be flowing, we can be eating well, sleeping enough, but if our adrenals fail, it is hard to keep up. We get tired and snappy. Glandular balance, and in particular, strong adrenals and kidneys are important to have that extra edge, to control anger and hypoglycemia. Without strong adrenals and kidneys, the heart can’t function well.
WHAT IS KUNDALINI YOGA?
Kundalini Yoga combines breath, mudra, eye-focus, mantra, body locks, and postures to balance the glandular system, strengthen the nervous system, expand lung capacity, and purifiy the blood. It brings balance to the body, mind, and soul.
WHY PRACTICE KUNDALINI YOGA?
Kundalini Yoga is a yoga for householders, for people who have to cope with the daily challenges and stresses of holding jobs, raising families, and managing businesses. It is a path for everyone who wants the skills to cope successfully with the challenges of our times.
HOW DOES THIS WORKSHOP FLOW?
Each session begins with a light Kundalini Yoga practice in order to move and prepare the body for the cleansing and healing that is to come (don’t worry the yoga is appropriate for all levels).
We then move into deep relaxation with a symphonic Paiste Gong. The Gong is a beautiful reinforced vibration that aids in releasing blocks, reducing tension and stimulating circulation in the body. The Gong impacts your nervous system, strengthening and healing it from any damage caused by stimulants (ie: coffee, stress). The vibrational tone of the gong will melt away all stress and worry, putting you into a state of bliss! The sounds develop, wash over and around you to vibrate all of the body’s cells. The waves of sound carry your body, and mind to a feeling of peace and connectedness. Your mind will have no defense to the Gong after 90 seconds!
After the Gong, we use sound (mantra) to remind us that the entire universe was built on sound, and vibration. And, as we vibrate a specific combination of sounds, we are able to tune into a different level of consciousness.

MEET THE INSTRUCTOR:
Warren Armstrong (Spiritual Name: Chand Shiva Singh)
is a Level 1 certified teacher of Kundalini Yoga and Meditation as taught by Yogi Bhajan. He has practiced yoga for more than 15 years but has a strong, passionate love for Kundalini Yoga and the Gong. His greatest joy is in teaching, sharing and inspiring others to find their wholeness, radiance and bliss.
